About Us
Aashita, meaning “she who has hope,” is an NGO founded on April 25, 2011, in Jaipur. The organization is dedicated to supporting girls who are either complete orphans or have been neglected. Currently, Aashita is home to 13 girls aged between 6 and 13 years. They live together in a large house, resembling a family, along with three caregivers (Didis).
To provide additional support, the family includes two private tutors, a cook, and a cleaner. All the girls attend an English Medium School, which helps them pursue quality education and enhance their English proficiency. They remain at Aashita until they complete their education and are prepared to settle into independent lives.
Aashita is a non-profit organization committed to spreading awareness and advocating for child education.
